The National Speakers Association Honors Scott Friedman, CSP, with the 2013 Cavett Award
The National Speakers Association (NSA), the leading organization for professional speakers, presented Scott Friedman, CSP, with the 2013 Cavett Award at the 2013 NSA Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Cavett Award is the highest honor NSA bestows on its members. It is presented annually to a professional speaker whose accomplishments over the years have reflected outstanding credit, respect, honor and admiration on NSA and the speaking profession. The award is named after NSA’s late founder, Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE, whose illustrious career helped guide and inspire many NSA members.
“Scott is an extraordinary example of the spirit of Cavett,” said Mark Sanborn, CSP, CPAE, 2007 Cavett Award winner. “He has consistently invested his time and skills to build relationships to benefit the members of NSA and the Global Speakers Federation. His work was always about how he could help by what he gave, not what he could get. That is the difference between greatness and fame.”
Friedman is a past NSA president, and internationally sought after speaker and author. As a motivational humorist, Friedman inspires and entertains with fun-filled, interactive and content-rich programs.
